We advocate bicycling as a healthful, economical, and practical mode of transportation. We facilitate trainings, mentoring, and ongoing assistance to individuals who want to ride bicycles competently, safely and lawfully. We help state and local officials stay informed about the rights and needs of bicyclists. We maintain a spirit of support for local bicycling groups and events. Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance believes that children deserve educational programs and community support allowing them to bicycle confidently and safely throughout the area, and especially between home and school. To promote these ideas, celebrate National Bike to Work week, and have some fun, Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance presents the fifth annual Boise Bike Week. Watch for it May 2008. Join the ride!
