Trek 6500

I'm willing to donate my trek 6500 to a worthy cause or needy individual. I recently replaced the cassette, installed a new forgiving seat post and an adjustable handlebar stem.

Les, your bike sounds great. I actually have a 6500 as well. Is it still rideable as a mountain bike or would it be better off as a commuter?

it never had any shocks on it and I haven't found the original handle bar stem yet, but I suppose it will still ride some mountain trails, it worked fine for me when I lived in Council.....if you can make use of it or know some one who will...
